Kevin December 21, 2024 for Model Number NE58F9710WS I replaced my display board due to several of the lights not working. The previous board's touchscreen worked, just couldn't see all the functions. After replacing the board, the lights now work, but the touchscreen does not respond. (unfortunately, I broke the old board taking it out). Any thoughts? I tried turning it off and on without success. (display board DE96 01027A)
1 Answer Kevin, it would be recommended that the display control and touchpad are double-checked to ensure they are properly seated. The REV number of your appliance and the part number on the original control may need to be checked as well to ensure proper compatibility as there are two displays used depending on the REV number. It may also be possible the display control may be faulty. Jared Kemp September 17, 2023 for Model Number NE58F9500SS/AA-0000 I have replaced my touch screen control board because my oven was overheating and would not maintain temp so the lady at the appliance store told me to. Since I have replaced the display control board my touchscreen has stopped working. I literally took the four screws out and unplugged the 3 connections and installed the new one. Once the new one was in my touchscreen no longer works, worked fine with the other control board. I put the old control board back in to see if the touchscreen would work and it doesnt. I have tried resetting the stove by turning off the breaker for 5 min and turning back on. The clock flashes but i have no touchscreen control.

1 Answer Peter, It would more than likely be a loose connection that is causing this, Check the wiring between the main board and the display board and make sure that nothing is loose. 1 Answer Anthony, First thing i would do is turn off power at the breaker for at least 5 minutes so the control can reset. If that doesn't resolve your issue you will need to check connections T400 on the display board to CN201 on the main board. This is how the two boards communicate. Joseph November 20, 2021 for Model Number NE58F9500SS/AA-01 A plug broke off of the circuit board. Seems to be a common issue I had it repaired at soldered back on. The touch screen isn’t responding now so I’m trying to order the control board DE96-01027A on to find it’s no longer available anywhere. Would the de96-01027b,c,d work? And if not, what do I have to do? Replace the entire stove over a faulty computer chip?
