Frank for Model Number Samsung NX58H9500WS/AA When the oven starts, the igniter turns orange and ignites the gas, but the igniter remains orange the entire time the gas is on. It goes off when the burner goes off. Should the igniter remain on while the burner is on? Oven appears to cycle and maintain temperature OK.

When voltage stops going from the control to the igniter, that voltage coursing through the igniter no longer reaches the gas valve and this is what causes the gas to stop flowing to the burners.
