George W January 04, 2026 for Model Number NX58M6650WS My hot surface igniter (lower) for oven has separate wires with plastic clips. My broiler hot surface igniter (upper) uses a single connecter for the two wires that can be easily disconnected. My question is how do I separate the wires on the individual wire connectors?
1 Answer George, To separate the individual wires you would simpley just pull the connectors apart. Read More...

Bill November 22, 2023 for Model Number NX58H5600SS/AA-0000 My Samsung gas oven is heating up but you can hear a pulsating noise as it does. I am thinking of replacing the ingniter and looking for your recommendation. Thank you
1 Answer Bill, if the pulsating is coming from the burner, it would be recommended that the burner is thoroughly cleaned as a clogged jet can cause improper operation. The oven bottom vents would also need to be completely clear and the burner air shutter not closed. If the gas supply is LP, the air shutter needs to be fully open. If the supply is natural gas, the shutter would need to be 3/4 of the way open. Read More...
Tim September 26, 2023 for Model Number NX58H5600SS/AA-0000 When you go to bake the unit is slow to ignite. When it does the flame is a full flame and then it drops back to a small flame coming from the tube. The igniter looks to be bright enough, because after a few minutes the gas will ignite. Broil unit works great. Could the igniter not be pulling enough amps to make the gas open?
1 Answer Tim, You will want to test to see if there is 3.2 to 3.6 amps being pulled by the igniter and if there are not then this will be a weak igniter. Read More...
Hana August 24, 2023 for Model Number NX58M9420SS/AA I need ignitor replacement . Which one should I buy? Thank you.
Richard July 13, 2023 for Model Number NX58F5500SS//AA On my gas range, the broiler lights up and burns okay, however, when I goes to Bake button and set it on 400. display goes to 150 deg and never moves again and never get hot at all...I need to know the best part I can order to resolve this problem...I can no longer do the micro-wave at this point...Thanks..
1 Answer Hello Richard, likely the bake burner glow bar ignitor is worn out, to test it a current tester (Amprobe) would be used, it should draw about 3.6-3.2 amps if less it needs to be replaced the part is DG94-00520A. Read More...
Dale April 18, 2023 for Model Number NX58K9500WG/AA Hi, The oven preheats but will not turn on the burner. Occasionally I could shut the oven off and restart it and it would start heating up normally. Once it got up to temp and then would not hold the temp. Now it will glow from the preheat but not get hot.
1 Answer Dale, based on the information provided, the ignitor DG94-01012A would be the cause of failure. Unfortunately, this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. Read More...
Ryan January 20, 2023 for Model Number NX60T8511SS/AA My oven igniter is shot. I pulled out the original DG94-01441A, but couldn’t find a replacement available anytime soon. DG94-00520A was available and advertised as a replacement. I put it in and it will glow orange, but the gas is not getting released to start the oven burners. 1) would this be because the replacement part doesn’t pull enough amps to trigger the gas release? Or 2) due to the orange glow, not bright yellow, could the replacement possibly be damaged by skin contact (just a guess)?
1 Answer Ryan, Thanks for the question!!! I do not see that DG94-01441A has a replacement. I think you may have installed an incorrect part. You will want to use the DG94-01441A. Read More...
Tom January 01, 2023 I just replaced the bake igniter on my Samsung. When I turned it on, I watched from underneath and saw it start to glow, then I noticed the glow traveling down the wires. Is that normal? I shut it off before lighting because I was not sure if the actual wires should be glowing. Thanks.
1 Answer Tom, Thanks for the question!!! No, the wires should not glow, only the ignitor itself should glow. Read More...
