Tom for Model Number NX58H9500WS/Ac My oven keeps tricking the break switch and I couldn’t use the oven but top burners works fine.So I removed the oven igniter found it burned out (over1M ohms.) I went to the store but they only have a Frigidaire igniter #5303935066 in the same size with 108 ohms resistance which they said maybe ok. I installed it and it got red hot glow but I did not see the gas lighting up. Do you think I need to order another DG94-00520A or there’s valve problems? I I just want to know if the two kinds parts are interchangeable. Thanks
Answer Tom, It is always recommended to use the manufacturer's part when available. That being said check the voltage to the valve when the ignitor is glowing for 3.2 -3.6 vac or 3.2 -3.6 amps. If you have the correct voltage or amperage and the valve does not open then the valve would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, December 1, 2021
