Anthony for Model Number Samsung RS2630SH My Ice maker is making ice but the tray will not rotate to dump the ice, so the water still flows and makes a sheet of ice in my bucket. I have turned off the ice maker and am looking to replace the ice maker. I am just wonder exactly how to do that and do I need just the ice maker itself or the assembly as well. thanks Anthony.
Answer Anthony, To replace the icemaker in your unit, there are 2 screws at the front of the icemaker that you will remove. Slide the icemaker forward and it will unhook from the tabs on the top of the unit. Then you would disconnect the wire harness and remove the icemaker. Plug in the new and reinstall. The icemaker assembly would need to be replaced DA97-02203H. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, November 5, 2013
