Regina for Model Number DA97-02203G I don't use a lot of ice and when ice bucket fills up in the chute. My question is how do you turn off ice maker when the bucket is full? Thank you
Answer Hello Regina, The icemaker should shut off when the ice level is high enough. The arm at the bottom of the icemaker is a "feeler arm" that acts as an off switch when the ice level is high enough that it cannot drop following a cycle. If the icemaker is not performing in this fashion, the icemaker will require replacement to correct the issue. We can check for the proper icemaker part number if you can please supply the refrigerators' model number from the I.D. tag on the unit. Read More...
