Wayne for Model Number Samsung RB215lash We had a power outage for an hour and then we noticed that the ice maker wasn't making much ice. I pushed the reset/test button on the bottom of the ice maker and it dropped the ice. It takes about 3-4 hours to drop ice unless I push the button to drop sooner. The temp in the freezer is -2 degrees. What is wrong? Do I need a new ice maker assy?? It takes too long for it to drop ice or I have to hit the black button on the bottom. What gives? Thanks, Wayne
Answer Hello Wayne. The icemaker should cycle every two to three hours based on the temperature in the freezer. If the unit is taking over 4 hours to cycle, then you will need to replace the icemaker DA97-02203H. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, September 1, 2011
