Segen77 for Model Number RV195BSSW We have had several power outages. Now for some reason the ice maker wont dump all ice. when it turns to dump it will dump about half, then you hear it click several times front to twist the tray enough to get the rest of the ice out. It is unsuccessful with the dump but will still fill with water anyway, so it will overfill and dump one giant chunk of ice. Do I need to replace with this part? AP4335223 and does it come with enough instructions to do so? I am fairly handy. Thanks
Answer Hello Segen77. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the ice maker assembly DA97-02203H is bad and will need to be replaced. These are not hard to change. Just remove the screw holding the ice maker in place and slide the ice maker and drop it down. Then unplug the wires and remove the ice maker. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.
