Nick for Model Number Rh25h5611sr The ice maker tray fills with water and freezes but won't eject the ice. The ice cubes are solid. The ejector arms move against the ice but cannot move the ice out of the mold. I brought a new ice maker assembly for my Samsung freezer, but same problem. I see there is a heater for the mold tray, could the heater not bet getting voltage from circuit board? Is there a way to test this?
Answer Nick, There is a heater that is on the icemaker that you purchased and the heater is not energizing which is causing the issue. You can check to see if there is power to the icemaker heater by checking at the icemaker using a multimeter. If you cycle the ice maker and test from the red pin 11 to the white/blu pin 10 on the connector, there should be 120 Vac. If there is not then the main board will be the issue. Read More...
