Jennifer for Model Number DV218AEB I have replaced my thermal fuse in the last month and the dryer was running and heating fine. All of a sudden when you hit the start button, it does not start up. I am thinking it was the motor. The control panel lights up and will run through the cycle like the dryer is running, but it is not. I wanted some advice before I replace the motor.
Answer Hello Jennifer. You will need to test the thermal fuse again. If the fuse is bad again, either the vent is bad or the control board is sticking keeping the heater on. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
