Tucker for Model Number RS261MDBP/XAA The refrigerator lost power. The wall socket was still good, so I replaced the main PCB. Refrigerator turned back on, and all was well.. for about 12 hours, then we're back to no power again. No lights inside, no hum, no display, no cooling.. no power anywhere i've looked. What could be blowing the main PCB out like that?
Answer Tucker, The first thing that you will want to look at is the power supply to make sure that you only have 120 vac +/- 10% at the wall outlet. If this checks ok then check the power supply cord to make sure that there is no damaged to it and check the heaters to make sure that they are not grounding out and causing failure of the control board.
