Big Willie for Model Number Samsung RS261MDRS My ice and water dispenser quit working about 8 months ago. The refrigerator and freezer have functioned as normal all this time. I replaced the two switches inside the water/ice lever. Didn't help. Recently, I had a tech come in to fix this issue. They were unable to do the repair. They suggested that I replace the computer board. After the tech guy left my house, my freezer and refrigerator have quit working. I lost all my food plus diabetes medications. The tech and his company are NOT taking any responsibility for this. Would replacing this computer board solve all my issues; ice & water dispenser, freezer, refrigerator? Thank you
Answer Hello Big Willie, The mainboard that the technician had to have been bad to make the unit stop operating. I would replace it before going forward with any other repairs.
