Curtis J. for Model Number WA456DRHDWRA/AA01 The water fill valves don't shut off. The sensor is sending out hertz signal and reducing as water fills. Signal is at sub Board at CN8 and reduces in Hz. In Quick Test the display show reading of 260 and reduces as water fills. I have noticed on diagrams at CN 12 sub PC terminal #2 is marked water level, but there is no reference in fast track or tech sheet of this being a test point. This appears to me to be a Communication port from Sub board to main board. I got a dc volt of 2.3.(cn12 #2) sub. I did a water fill and the volts did not change. I am trying to find out if this is a test point. I can't get Samsungs' help. I have either a sub board not outputting control signal to main or main with a failure to shut off valve not receiving signal or open circuit. Which board is the most likely problem? I'm leaning toward the main because I have a good display but want to verify or find out about the #2 wire marked water level. Is that a test point?
Answer Hello Curtis, I'm sorry but we have the same information you have. As trained technicians, all we can do is advise to use the information as far as it can take you and replace the parts most likely to cause the issue since Samsung is not helpful in diagnosing and repairing their own units.
