Julian for Model Number WA45H7000AP/A2 (0000) WA45H7000AP/A2 is the washer. No LEDs, nothing happens when power button is pressed. Have replaced UI assembly already. Metered 120VAC leaving emi filter and going to mainboard. Metered 120VAC on mainboard after fuse. Metered strange DC voltages leaving mainboard going to UI board. Pretty certain this is an issue with a component on the mainboard, does that seem right?
Answer Julian, based on the information provided the failure would be in the main control. There should be a fluctuating DC voltage at connection CN802 pin 4 and pin 5 as they are used for communicating with the main control. However, there should be a 5VDC at pin 7 and a 12VDC at pin 9 when the power button is pressed. More than likely the user interface is not receiving the 12VDC to power on the user interface, indicating the main control has failed. Read More...
