Kyle Bassman for Model Number WF220ANW/XAA-01 Hi. Well, I have 2 part question. I have a washer: WF220ANW/XAA-01 . It stopped draining, so I bought a new pump motor: dc31-00054a. That fixed it draining, however, not it takes twice as long to do a load. If I pause the washer, and check the load, the clothes aren't damp and are finished, but the machine doesn't think its finished and keeps adding more time on, and continuously runs. and the washer starts smoking towards the end of the 'double' cycle. Also. Which I found that my pump assembly: DC96-01585D Does not have the rubber mounting bracket on it. I am trying to find that part. I am not sure if that is the reason its still not doing what it is supposed to, but I'm looking for that part.
Answer Kyle, The Rubber feet that go under the pump would be part number DC99-00815A. This should not keep the unit from completing the wash cycle in one go round. Check the pressure switch to make sure that it is resetting to empty when the unit is drained and done spinning. If it is resetting then this will be a control board issue. Read More...
