Stanley What reading should I get on the Water Level pressure switch? I have an ohmmeter connected to the outside terminals and want to test it. I also want to check the inside terminals. I want to make sure that this piece is bad before I order the wrong part. Thank you.
Answer Stanley, You didn't post a model number or a problem or fault/error code, but Usually the pressure switch has three wires. you can disconnect the hose and remove the switch You place the meter leads on pin # 2(orange/common). and pin #1 purple you should read a closed circuit if the tub is empty. Then slowly, carefully blow into the switch where the hose was attached, until you hear a click then check between pin 2 orange and pin 3 pink should read a closed circuit. You can also check for the voltage at the main control board usually CN3 connector orange to purple should rad 2.5 VDC empty, and orange to pink should read 2.5 VDC full . Read More...
