Herb Wright for Model Number FR266ABRS I Just purchased Ice Maker DA97-07603B and am about to install it. The is an arm on the side of the unit. It is in an up position as is. Do I need to unlock it somehow so it drops down or install as is?
Answer Herb, You would not have to unlock the arm of the icemaker. It is designed to be in the up position when at rest. When it cycles the arm will drop and if it meets resistance then it will not cycle the icemaker and if it does not meet resistance it will continue to make the ice. Read More...
