Bert for Model Number RF26HFENDSR/AA Ice maker doesn't cycle. Pressing test button will cause it to dump ice and refill properly, but it doesn't ever cycle on its own. The ice-bin-full arm does come down during a test cycle, and the bin is empty. Does the icemaker DA97-07603B have the cycle timer built in or is it part of the control panel on this model? Can the cycle timer be purchased separately? Thanks
Answer Hello Bert, The part in the icemaker that cycles it is the icemaker cycling thermostat. It should close and initiate a cycle at about 20°F. If not, you will have to replace the icemaker assembly DA97-07603B. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, September 7, 2016
