Jim for Model Number WF50K7500AV/A2 The washer is vibrating and banging against the side of the washer. Even load. The shocks look good and have good stiffness. Is there a service bulletin? Also, how do you set time to 17 minutes to enter service? Hope you are well Jim
Answer Jim, it would be recommended that the unit is inspected to ensure that it is level. From there, the spider shaft (part of the basket assembly DC97-19268A) and bearings (part of the rear tub assembly DC97-19230A which has been discontinued by the manufacturer) would need to be inspected. This can be done by attempting to wiggle the spin basket up and down inside of the outer tub. If the spin basket moves up and down freely, this would indicate that either the spider shaft or the rear bearings have failed and they would need to be visually inspected. If the spin basket does not wiggle up and down freely, the upper weight DC67-00839A and lower weight DC67-00649A would need to be checked to see if the bolts are loose. The balance ring (part of the basket assembly as well) would be the next inspection needed to identify if there are any cracks or indications of the counter bearings not moving through the ring when rotated.
