Self-Learner for Model Number Samsung model: RS2530BSH/XAA

My fridge and freezer stop cooling. Have no problem with the compressor, fans condenser and evaporator motor, I wonder what might go wrong? My defrost thermostat sensor still in its pinkish e-sealed plastic and hung loose alongside the evaporator assembly. Only the temperature sensor is connected directly to the evatorator coil. Is it correct? I also discovered a crack in the freeze wall next to the evaporator assembly. What product should I use to seal the crack? Thank you for your help.

Answer

Self learner, For the crack that is in the wall next to the evaporator the part number that you would want to get to try to repair this is 8201700. As for the no cooling issue you will want to check to make sure that the unit is defrosting. If it is not then test the sensors for resistance. If the sensors check open for no resistance then the sensor is faulty.
