Barb for Model Number Samsung WF419AAW/XAA-02 Loud Humming - Water Does Not Stay In Drum, continues to empty out. CLOTHS IN THE MACHINE: As soon as I hit POWER there is a loud humming sound down by the drain trap door. Drum spins and water drains out the drain hose. This activity starts before I hit the START button. When the machine was working with no hum I would hit POWER, make my selection, (no sound) hit START old water would drain out and the cycle would start, new water would retain in the drum and of course wash my cloths with water in the drum. Now, I hit POWER, loud hum and water comes in goes right out the drain into the sink. I hit START, the incoming water runs right out, water fills the soap dish and when I check the drain water is soapy. The water does not stay in the drum. As soon as washing is complete the humming is still going and it appears the humming (draining) continues during the whole wash cycle no matter what stage it is in. I see END on the panel I get no error code and the humming continues. The humming stops when I press the POWER or open the door. WITHOUT CLOTHS: Ran a Quick wash, warm/cold, low spin, pressed POWER (loud hum) pressed START (hum continued) watched it cycle. It was in wash cycle, tried to fill 3 times water kept running out into sink and I got an nF code. Humming stopped. Your Thoughts? A bad solenoid, pump, board or switch
Answer Barb, Based on the issue, it sounds likely that this will be a faulty main control board. The main board is sending power to the drain pump when it does not need it. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Sunday, December 20, 2020
