Dave for Model Number RF30HDEDTSR/AA Hi I noticed the fan in the upper part of refrigerator making noise when I pulled it apart I found the coil freezing around where the fan sits causing the noise it’s not the whole coil only seems to be the top and where the main tubes come into the fridge then to the coil. I would post a pic but I can’t post. It’s a little over a year old very little dust in coils all pretty clean but I blew out anyway. When I took apart about 3 weeks ago and chipped ice and now it’s back I run the fridge temp 34-36 and freezer -2 to 0 haven’t changed. Could the defrost sensor be causing this or could it be low on Freon?
Answer Dave, You would want to check the defrost sensor to make sure that it is good but sounds like there may be a partial restriction in the sealed system and may need service to correct the issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, February 28, 2018
