Scott for Model Number 401.80082700 The door on the microwave wouldnt stay shut. I removed the door and seperated the black cover. I found a white piece of plastic rattleing around inside, and the spring was flopping around. My question is I cant seem to find how or where the spring attaches to, or if there is something I need to replace in order to fix the problem.
Answer Scott, There should be a "tab" molded into the inside of the outer door panel, that the end of the spring should fit over. If the tab broke off or something similar occurred, you'll need to order the outer door panel DE64-01846B or complete door DE94-01646B Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
