Brandon for Model Number WF42H5200AW/A2 The machine will not spin, just jerks when I turn it to test spin mode. I have a 3E2 code when I run a test spin. I checked the motor windings and have 11.8ohms through each. I test the hall switch on pins 2 and 4 and 3 and 4 and have 4.7k ohms. I have 1.3vdc on the same pins on the inverter board connector cn2. I am not sure what is wrong, this part the inverter board or the pcb.
Answer Brandon, it would be recommended that the spin basket is rotated by hand to identify if it is able to rotate freely. If not, or if there is excessive resistance, the unit will need to be inspected in between the spin basket and the outer tub for articles of clothing that could be preventing its ability to spin. If the spin basket is able to wiggle up and down, side to side, or diagonally inside of the outer tub the spider shaft would be the cause of failure. Read More...
