George for Model Number WF45K6500AV/A2 How do you test to see if the rotor position sensor is good. I’m reading 12.6 ohms on the stator between lines so I believe the stator is good. Thanks in advance for any info
Answer George, the rotor position sensor DC31-00098A would be tested from the inverter DC92-01531C connection CN6. After pressing the power button (do not start a cycle), there should be 5VDC from pin 1 to pin 4. If not, the inverter has failed. If there is, the next step would be testing from pin 4 to pin 2, and pin 4 to pin 3 while rotating the rotor by hand. There should be a voltage reading around 3.5VDC at each test. If not, the position sensor has failed. If there is voltage at both points, the inverter has failed. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Saturday, November 18, 2023
