Rory for Model Number NE58K9850WS/AA The hot surface light stays on all the time for the large heater radiant. Would this be related to a faulty regulator?
Answer Rory, the hot surface indicator light would be turned on by the contacts closing between the two terminals separate from the rest on one of the surface elements. It would be recommended that the range power cord is unplugged and each element tested for continuity at these terminals to identify which one has failed.
