With the switch rotated to the 3 ring selection, the terminal L1 will be tested to the terminals H1, P, 4B, S1, and S2 for continuity. The terminal L2 would be tested to H2. There should be continuity at each test point. If there is not continuity, then the switch has failed. If there is continuity, the wires to the element will need to be inspected for any breaks. If the wires are intact, the most likely failure would be in the element. In regards to the element, if the REV number of your appliance is 00 or 01, the element is part number DG47-00065A and has been discontinued by the manufacturer. If the REV number is 02 or higher, the element is part number DG47-00065A.
