Lee for Model Number RS2555SL I had the repairman replace the "replay" because my whole refrigerator stopped working. Replay is pulling around 2.4 amp. but he said it should be putting out around 1.4 amp. Samsung Tech is telling me that it should be fine as long as it works. Do I need to be concerned? What should I do?
Answer Hello Lee, If the compressor is running and keeping the unit down to temperature, there is no reason to be concerned. This sounds like a line used to make a customer panic and spend more money even if not needed. You see, the relay will not pull the amperage, but it is the compressor which pulls the amperage.
