Steve for Model Number RF32FMQDBSR/AA-0000 The refrigerator lights come on initially at power up, then after a few minutes will not come on when doors open. Thoughts please
Answer Steve, you may want to check the main control DA92-00447C. You can test for outgoing voltage to the door switches at CN50 pin 9, 10, and 11. There should be continuous voltage being supplied at these pins when placing the red probe of a meter on these pins and the black probe at pin 8 of this connector. If there is not continuous voltage, then you have a bad control. If there is voltage, then you will want to check that the control is sending voltage to the lights by going to CN78 black probe to pin 2 and red probe to pin 3 for refrigerator section, pin 1 for freezer, and pin 4 for the final section depending on which door is opened. If there is not voltage going to one of these when the corresponding door to the section is opened, then you have a bad control. Read More...
