Ken for Model Number RF28HDEDBSR/AA my samsung fridge was not getting cold. I replaced the bimetal thermostat (da47-00243K) and also temp sensor (da-10104n). Now the fridge is cold, however the panel that tells you the temp says 80 degrees F. The freezer is good. Its working well and is set to 3 degrees. Is there another sensor that I need to replace? regards, Ken
Answer Ken, the refrigerator temperature sensor for your model would be part number DA32-00011C and at 80°F should read at 4690 ohms when testing from the main control from connection CN76 pin 1 (grey wire) to connection CN30 pin 6 (white wire). If the sensor measures at this resistance, then the refrigerator temp sensor in the evaporator cover has failed. If the resistance measures 11700 ohms then the sensor is registering at 37°F and the issue would be with the main control. For the main control, there will be a REV number on the model tag that would be necessary to ensure that the correct main control part number can be provided. Read More...
