Marti for Model Number RF22K9381SG/AA The fridge section the upper half seems to be working fine. The last time I checked it the fridge was set at 34 F it displayed 34 F and actual temp according to my IR measure was reading 37.9 F. seems OK to me. Now the freezer is a different story it set at ( -4 F) it displays (-4 F) but the actual temp is actually 40 F on one side and 32.8 F on the other side. the coil doesn't appear to be freezing over as it would be if it was low on Freon, the fan runs... please guide me in the right direction ..I am thing there is a bad temp sensor in this thing. by the way there is only one compressor in the unit...
Answer Hello Marti, unfortunately what you are describing is a sealed system problem, there are several sensors in this model however the control would have displayed a faulty sensor code on the display if that was the problem. You would need an appliance technician to test the sealed system further. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, June 23, 2020
