Frank for Model Number RF261BEAEBC/AA Just defrosted fridge yesterday. Usually once a month. Fridge section only freezes up. Set at 34 degrees and reading around 44 degrees. Took off back panel, and there was frost and ice from middle of coils up.There was solid ice around the freon line (the copper line ,I assume). So , I have heard that I may need a new temperature sensor for the fridge section . The freezer section seems ok . Set at 5 degrees ,and reading from 0 degrees to 7 degrees . So , is this new temperature sensor for me? thank you
Answer Frank, You should use a multimeter and check the temperature sensor for the proper resistance and replace it if needed. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, August 3, 2023
