Steve for Model Number RS265TDRS/XAA My freezer works fine, but the refrigerator is to warm. I see the coils are frosted over but the drain hole has ice in it. I think this melts when the defroster is on, which I did see the defroster working. I checked the sensor on the top of the frig and at 20k setting it reads 6.54 at room temp and 14.12 in ice water. the sensor on the coils reads 5.99 at room tem and 12 .81 in ice at 20 k setting. The fan runs when I jump it to my car battery, I replaced the main control board and the frost seemed better for 1 night now it is warm again.
Answer Steve, Based on the readings of the sensors, the refrigerator sensor at the top sounds like it checks ok but the sensor on the coils appear to be off by approximately 4 to 5 ohms in ice and at room temp. This would be a bad sensor which would need to be replaced Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, March 13, 2015
