Hello Barbara. You will need to turn off the gas and disconnect the power. Then remove the venturi and the burners from the unit. Once removed, you will want to lift the cook top and access the bottom of the igniter. Unplug the wire from the igniter and remove the clip securing the igniter to the top assembly. Remove the igniter and install the new igniter in reverse order.
