Trent for Model Number ECS130 The oven light randomly goes on and off by itself accompanied by clicking noises. Replaced membrane touch pad with supposedly tested good used part. Do I need the relay board now?
Answer Trent, check input voltage to the light transformer at the primary side across terminal 1and 5. Should read 240 volts. If you do not have 240 volts across 1 and 5, check wiring back to the terminal block. If there is 240 volts present at 1 and 5 go to step 2. 2. Check voltage at the light transformer on the secondary side across terminal 6 and 8. Should read 12 volts. If you do not have 12 volts present at terminal 6 and 8 replace the light transformer. If you do have voltage present go to step 3. 3. Check voltage from the main relay board at terminal N which is left of OL1 relay. Should have 12 volts present at n all the time. If you do not have 12 volts present recheck previous steps. 4 Check voltage at OL1 on the main relay for 12 volts after the relay closes. If no voltage replace the relay board. Read More...
