Robin N. for Model Number DAC SGM365S The largest burner has an intermittent problem. Sometimes when I turn it on it sparks a couple of times and stops but the gas continues to flow without igniting, very dangerous if you have a pot on it and are not paying attention. Also when knob at lowest point and flame gets blown out sometimes it won't try to re-ignite. Thanks
Answer Hello Robin, This is most likely caused by the burner area losing ground or a failing spark module. I would first disassemble the area around the burner and sand the areas around where the screws hold the metal parts together to re-establish a good ground. Also use a safety pin or small paperclip to clear the orifice. If this does not correct the issue, replace the spark module DE81-03927A and ignitor wires 62477. I'm sorry but this part 62477 has been discontinued by the manufacturer and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
