Mike S. for Model Number Dacor 5 burner glass top gas stove 5 burner gas Dacor stove top. 3 of the burners light correctly. Two of the burners do not, they continue to attempt to lite but no spark at the burner. If I lite the burner with a match, they lite but continue to spark. Answer Hi Mike. Your problem sounds like you need the top burner ignitors part # DE81-02696A. They are aged and prone to cracking the ceramic and then shorting to ground. The burner caps also need to be "cleaned" regurallry with a small brass brush to insure the ground path is correct. Make sure that the burner caps are set back on correctly also. Thank you.
