Wickedstepmom for Model Number WF328AAW/XAA Washer stopped draining, confirmed nothing is wrong with the drain motor/pump and need a door latch replacement. The OEM part in my washer does not have a part number and checking various websites, have found numerous part numbers. Ordered a DC64-00519B but was sent a DC34-00024B. Part is very similar but won't fit in the cover plate for the door latch I have now. I have located a new DC64-00519D that the seller says is the same as a DC64-00519B, is that correct? Will the cover plate I have now work? Thanks.
Answer Wicked, The part number for this door switch assembly is DC64-00519B and will want to use this assembly. In most cases a unit not draining would not be caused by a door lock and would suggest testing for 120 vac to the pump and if there is power to the pump then this would be either a clogged drain or a bad drain pump.
