Karianne for Model Number Dv42h5400ew/a3 Hi there! My dryer wouldn't heat so I tested my heating element and all was good. I ordered a thermistor, thermostat and thermal fuse from you guys and replaced them all by following your videos, thank you! I also cleaned the vents and I was thrilled when it was heating after my repairs! But not 4 minutes later... it won't hear again! I read another question that was came from someone with the exact same issue and the answer was: "The thermal fuse should only blow in the case of an overheating issue. It is possible that the relay on the control board may be sticking closed". Can you please elaborate? Is this something that can be repaired with any replacement parts? Model Number Dv42h5400ew/a3 Thank you!
Answer Karianne, Based on the information I would recommend checking the thermal fuse with a multimeter. If it is bad then check the dryer vent system for an airflow issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, October 19, 2021
