Dave for Model Number DV2C6BGW/XAA-0000 The gas dryer heats for a short time (between 0 and 120 seconds) and then the burner turns off. The dryer turns, there are no error codes. The dryer runs its full cycle, but the clothes are still wet. I have replaced the Samsung thermal fuse, AP4201894 and Dryer Thermistor AP4201716 however those parts changes did not solve the problem. What do you recommend I try next?
Answer Dave, it would be recommended that the dryer duct, and the duct going to the outside of the house, are cleared of any build-up that could be preventing proper airflow. Testing the main control for 120VAC at the blue wire on the heater relay would be necessary as well. If the vent is clear and there is not voltage after a 2-minute period, the control has failed. If there is voltage and the duct was clear, the ignitor DC47-00022A would be the most likely cause of failure. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, August 23, 2022
