Answer

Jose, with the microwave unplugged for 10 minutes, the magnetron, capacitor, diode, and magnetron would need to be inspected. The diode would be tested for continuity and will measure as having continuity when tested in one direction, and open when tested in the opposite direction (direction indicating from terminal to terminal). The capacitor would be tested for resistance to indicate if it is able to hold a charge. The resistance should start out at 0O and slowly climb to 9MO. The transformer will be tested for resistance and the reading would be based on what the full model number is as there are two variations. The magnetron filament would need to be inspected for any damaged portions. If these components test good, then the likely failure would be in the main control. For the most accurate part numbers, the full model number would be necessary.
