Crystal for Model Number Dv50f9a8evp/a2-0001/ My son just recently put in a load of clothes being impatient that he is that we're still soaking wet. There was no power to the dryer at all. My father in law came to check it out and said something was tripping the breaker. He turned the breaker back on which power came back on as soon as I pressed start it made a loud noise. Then lost power once again. He stated that the breaker keeps tripping. What could be causing this?
Answer Hello Crystal. Something is shorted out to ground in the unit. You will need to check the wiring and the element in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
