Chad for Model Number Samsung DV45h6300eg/a3 Gas Dryer So, some time either today or yesterday this part went out again. It is the Dryer Thermostat. This is the 2nd time in about 3 months for it to have gone out. Previous Post here if you want to read. I went and did a continuity check on it and the other fuses, and yea, its the one. My Question is, how often will this go out, or should it go out? (Whats the proper life span?) I know my Wife and I have gotten on our kids about over loading the Washer and then the Dryer, and also doing large blankets with Towels to dry in a single load, so we have to pull out the towels and just do the blanket (Generally no issues if done by itself. Does this or can this cause this part to go out if it get to hot? Should I be looking at something else to change? Maybe just get these and change at once or? Oh, and the Lint trap and other parts have been cleaned out and aren't an issue. This was all done previously and have been since checked again for good measure.
Answer Chad, You will want to make sure that the venting is clear from the inside of the dryer to the outside of your home as this will be the most common reason for a thermal fuse to blow. Also, try to replace the hi-limit thermostat at the same time you replace the fuse. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, March 23, 2020
