Doug for Model Number DV42H5200EF/A3 Our Samsung dryer will turn on, begin to spin and then shutoff after about 20 seconds. At this time there is a slight burning smell coming from the dryer. I was hoping you might be able to direct me as far as what parts/repairs I might need completed on this unit. Thank you - Doug M
Answer Doug, it is hard to guess but I like doing it anyway. I would bet that the motor overload is tripping as the motor is overheating. Best to take the dryer apart and follow your nose to where that smell is. It could also be visible you disassemble the unit.
