Celt for Model Number FE710DRS/AXX If bottom oven is set at 425deg and panel states it has made the temp but actually the temp is only 250-300deg inside, how do I run diagnostics?
Answer Celt, the lower sensor DG32-00004C would need to be tested for resistance. At room temperature it should measure around 1100 Ohms. When heated, it should measure 1151 Ohms at 104°F, 1188 Ohms at 122°F, and 1374 Ohms at 212°F. This can be tested from the rear of the range before and after it has heated or by removing the sensor and using a hair dryer (or other indirect heat source). If this tests good, the failure would be in the main control. The REV number of this model would be necessary to identify the correct control. Read More...
