Joe K for Model Number SMH9207ST/XAA-0001 Microwave shutoff after various times but mostly within a 2 minute period. All other functions work. I want to guess that it's the high voltage transformer and/or the high limit thermostat. I did notice that if I attempt to turn on the fan or the light the unit fails instantly. Suggesting to me that the extra current draw is causing the failure.
Answer Joe, This does not sound like it would be caused by the thermostat or the transformer but sounds like the draw is coming from the control board itself.
