Michael T. for Model Number LSQ9010LW0 EVERYTIME THE WHIRLPOOL WASHER GOES INTO SPIN CYCLE THE TUB SOUND LIKE IT KNOCKING AGAINST THE WALLS OF THE MACHINE.REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY CLOTHES IN THE WASHER. I HAVE REPLACED THE THREE BIG SPRINGS.THE ONLY ONE LEFT NOW IS THE ONE YOU GUYS CALL THE SUSPENSION SPRING(THE LONG ONE AT THE BOTTOM). I NOTICED THE SKATE PLATE DON'T HAVE ANY SCREWS IN IT.SHOULD IT HAVE SCREWS? MODEL LSQ9010LW0
Answer Michael, Other than the locating tabs, that secure the "skate" plate to the tub support, there are no screws. Have you checked the base frame and the skate plate pads for damage, stuck ,or being bent ? And are the rear self levelling legs, "locking" in position ? You may also want to check the spin tub balance ring for cracks or holes and the fluid for a "sloshing" noise, when you shake it. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
