Mike for Model Number Whirlpool Thintwin LTE6234AW1 My washing machine goes out of balance everytime during the spin cycle. I had to take it apart and put a new pump on it and I think I may have misplaced one of the springs. The drum sits far to the front. Is there supposed to be a spring on the back of the drum connecting to the frame to pull the tub back? Would that cause the drum to always go unbalanced?
Answer Hello Mike, The counter balance spring WPW10250667 gives enough tension on the rear of the tub assembly to hold the tub assembly up straight.
