Manufacturer Part Number: WP71003424

This is an electronic clock control board that is made for use with ovens and microwave/oven combination appliances. It is located at the back middle of the range and includes a small display window. The control panel is used to manage the oven functions like baking and broiling. It also includes a clock to show the time of day.If the oven cannot be changed from bake to broil, it may indicate the part is no longer working. A test of the heating elements can determine whether this is the case. Before starting the replacement process, make sure the range is not plugged into the wall and the oven and cooktop are both cool. Open the oven door to access the screws that hold the control board. Unclip the ribbon connection before removing the part. Reverse the process to install the new part. The electronic clock control board is sold as a single part. It is an authentic OEM replacement part that is compatible with wall ovens and microwave/oven combos from Jenn Air.

Adrian D. for Model Number JJW8527CAS

I have verified the model number JJW8527CAS. After I changed the clock the first time which I ordered myself from Sears Parts the display worked but the oven did not. I called in a repair person from Sears Service. We assumed the new control panel was bad and ordered another one. All of the replacement panels were clearly not new even though they were supposed to be. The third replacement clock was ordered from a different source and again it was NOT new and it had exactly the same problem. Again the display works with the replacement clocks but when you set the oven for Broil it starts to heat the broil element and the fan comes on but as soon as you open the door it shuts down. I understand that the color of the PC board does not make any difference but the component layout is completely different from the original board. And again when the old panel is reinstalled the oven works just fine but of course with no display. The repair technician, from Sears, gave up on the problem and suggested I try to get a replacemnet panel locally. Morgan and White thinking that Sears Parts was lacking the proper information on the replacement part. When I look at the one on your site and display the component side I can see that it is the same as all of the replacement panels I have already tried. The serial number on my oven is 12529752CA and I am wondering if there was a different panel for this particular vintage. It has been a great oven and I hate to give it up because of a faulty display and an inability to get a proper replacement. I also wonder if it is possible to have the original panel repaired to restore the display. Adrian
