Charles for Model Number ZCG3500DSS I disassembled the compactor to replace the drive chain. When I reassembled and operated without bin in place by pushing the activator with a screw driver, it works properly down and reverses and stops when it reaches the top. When I close the bin it operates but does not stop when it reaches the top, but goes down again and reverses. There are five terminals on the switch, could they be connected incorrectly?
Answer Hello Charles. On the top limit switch you should have Black with white strip to the top C and Violet across from it on the NC and Orange below the violet on NO.
